Court Upholds Governor Bello’s Election Victory

The Court of Appeal in Abuja has dismissed four appeals challenging the victory of Kogi State Governor, Yahaya Bello at the November 2019 elections.
The five-man panel led by Justice Adamu Jauro, in separate judgements, upheld the election of Governor Bello on Saturday.
The court also dismissed the appeals for lacking in merit.
The appeals were filed by the state’s Peoples Democratic Party, the Actions People’s Party, the Social Democratic Party and the Democratic People’s Party.
