Security details attached to the venue were said to have resisted efforts to enter the venue, as they almost engaged in open confrontation with security details attached to the deputy governor.

The widow of the deceased, Florence Ajimobi, had during the burial accursed the Oyo State Government was playing politics with the death of her husband.

She made the allegation while receiving a delegation of Nigeria Governor’s Forum (NGF), led by Gov. Kayode Fayemi, during the burial in Ibadan.

Mrs Ajimobi said that none of the state governor and his deputy called her while her husband was hospitalised until he died.

“The governor of Oyo state never called me. He never signed a condolence message. Never called even when my husband was on sick bed for one month. What politics are you playing, please?,” She said.
