The Ogun State government on Wednesday announced that 11 COVID-19 patients had tested negative for the deadly virus.
Earlier, the Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC) said three new cases were identified in the state Tuesday.
According to a statement posted on its verified Facebook page, the state government noted that it had recorded 1050 cases of COVID-19.
It wrote: “Ogun State, as of 7th July 2020, had a total of 377 active cases, including 3 new confirmed cases.
“These newly recorded cases bring to 1050, the total number of confirmed cases in the state.
“Of the total 1050, 11 cases were discharged on the day, as the State had recorded a cumulative of 21 related deaths.”
