Unknown Men Abduct Kano Lawmaker’s Daughter

Unknown men have abducted the 17 year old daughter of a member representing Danbatta Constituency at Kano state house of assembly, Murtala Musa Kore.
Kore confirmed the news to journalists shortly after the incident.
According to the lawmaker, he received a call from his brother at 2:30am that some people came looking for him but took his young daughter that went outside the house to tell the visitors that he was not home.
“Initially, they had mistaken my elder brother Lawan for. Sooner one of them realized he was not their target, he was released. Only God knows why they decided to choose my daughter.

“They categorically told my wife and children their mission was to kidnap me.
“I have not yet been contacted or asked for any ransom payment but the incident has been reported to the security agency,” he said.
