The Lagos State Government on Wednesday sealed beach resorts for hosting parties amid the coronavirus disease.
The beach houses were sealed for contravening the Lagos State Infectious Disease Regulation (2020).
The operation was led by the Director General Lagos State Safety Commission, Lanre Mojola who had earlier visited the locations over the weekend.
According to the DG, his visit to the resorts witnessed the flagrant disregard for social distancing with gatherings of over 250 people, no use of face masks & other health and safety related infractions at the various locations.
