Police Arrest Three Persons Over Murder Of Kogi Chief Imam’s Wife

Men of the Kogi State Police Command have arrested three persons over the murder of the wife of the Chief Imam of Stereo community, Yemisi Baderu, in the Ijumu Local Government Area of the state.

Report has it that Baderu was hacked to death with a cutlass on Thursday at her house in the presence of her husband and children.

The state Police Public Relations Officer, DSP William Aya, while confirming the incident, said the suspects had been arrested and were undergoing interrogation.

The Senior Special Assistant on Security of the council, Taufiq Isa, who visited the community on Saturday, described the attack as “heartless and brutal.”
