A chieftain of the All Progressive Congress, Asiwaju Bola Tinubu has said that victims of the Lekki Toll Gate shooting have questions to answer to aid the investigation process.
Tinubu said this in an interview with newsmen after his courtesy visit to the governor of Lagos state, Babajide Sanwo-Olu over the #ENDSARS protests and recent spate of violence in the state.
He said; “Those who have suffered casualties during the gunshot need to answer some questions too. How are there? How long were they there? What kind of characters are they? Even though we want to help, we must still extract information that will help the government to prepare in future and understand how and when to react because the governor in particular is a youth”

The former governor of Lagos state also said he had asked Sanwo-olu questions about the Lekki Toll Gate shooting but denied reports that he traveled to France during the protests.
“If he didn’t order the attack, who ordered the attack? That’s all I needed from him.
“I did not go nowhere. I am a Lagosian and I still hold the title of Asiwaju of Lagos and I am still the Jagaban,” Tinubu said.
He however condemned the invasion and wanton looting of public and private assets in the state.
