Governor Hope Uzodinma of Imo State has relaxed the curfew imposed on the state from 6 am to 6 pm.

The Governor made the announcement in a statewide broadcast on Saturday.

Uzodinma said the decision to relax the curfew was because the unrest in the state had been controlled by security operatives.

He further said security operatives are trailing those who hijacked the #EndSARS peaceful protest.

The hoodlums had burnt several police stations during violence that trailed the #EndSARS protests in the state.

He urged all the citizens and residents of the state to remain calm, vigilant and law abiding at all times.
