Lekki Shooting: Lagos Panel Commences Review Of CCTV Footage

The Judicial Panel of Inquiry set up by the Lagos State Government to probe the Lekki Shootings as well as getting justice for victims of the now-disbanded Federal Special Anti-Robbery Squad, FSARS, on Friday commenced the viewing of the CCTV footage submitted by the Lekki Concession Company, LCC, operators of the Lekki toll gate.
The CCTV footage was on Tuesday submitted to the panel by the Managing Director of LCC, Abayomi Omomuwa.
According to the LCC MD, the footage was retrieved from a surveillance camera mounted by the firm on a mast at the tollgate.

An24.net gathered that the Lagos panel led by retired Justice Doris Okuwobi began viewing the footage around 11:30am on Friday.
The footage shows peaceful #EndSARS protesters at the toll gate on the night of October 20, 2020.
