Obaseki, Shaibu Sworn-In For Second Term

Edo State Governor, Godwin Obaseki and his deputy, Comrade Philip Shaibu, were on Thursday sworn-in for a second term in office.
The inauguration took place at the Tennis Court of the Samuel Ogbemudia Stadium, Benin City.

The inauguration had the Governors of the Peoples Democratic Party, Nyesom Wike of Rivers State, Aminu Tambuwal of Sokoto State, Ifeanyi Okowa of Delta State and Duoye Diri of Bayelsa State in attendance.
Obaseki was elected as the Governor for the second term under the platform of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, in the September 19, 2020 governorship election in the state.
