Siblings, Accomplice Arrested For Threatening Former Employer

Two siblings and one other person have been arrested by the operatives of Ogun State police command for threatening and making an attempt to kidnap their former employer.

The suspects, Oyeleke Blessing, David Oyeleke and Kabiru Oniyitan were apprehended following a report made at Onipanu divisional headquarters by one Makinde Oluwatoyin who reported that he received a call from an anonymous caller who threatened to kidnap his Son Makinde Solomon from school and wipe out his entire family if he failed to pay the sum of 2million to a specific bank account within three days.

He stated further that the caller described his children’s school and the location of his residents which suggested that he had been under their surveillance for some time.

Upon the report, the DPO Onipanu division, Bamidele Job, detailed his detectives to embark on intelligence and technical based investigation.

A statement from the command said their efforts paid off when one of them was tracked to her hideout.

Her arrest led to the subsequent arrest of her two other accomplices.

On interrogation, they confessed to have jointly planned the crime together having worked in the man’s company.

The State Commissioner of Police, Edward A. Ajogun had ordered the transfer of the case to anti-kidnapping unit of the State criminal investigation and intelligence department for discreet investigation.
