The Lagos State Environmental and Special Offences (Enforcement) Unit (Task Force) has denied the report that the vehicle belonging to the enforcement agency knocked down a man identified as Dare in the Oshodi area of the state.

A statement signed by its Chairman, CSP Shola Jejeloye, said the deceased was knocked down by a commercial bus who was evading arrest.

He said commercial drivers in the state continue to flout the law and put the lives of commuters at risk despite the warnings and enlightenment campaigns about the dangers of violating traffic laws.
