Insurgency: Troops Eliminate 81 Boko Haram Terrorists.

Nigerian troops have eliminated 81 Boko haram terrorists, destroyed camps and recovered gun trucks and weapons in Sambisa axis.

It was learnt that the terrorist were causing chaos and destroying villages.

Information gathered was that about 4:30 pm on Sunday, A massive number of terrorists invaded Zira and Gur in Biu South Local government area of Borno state and burnt down many houses while on their motorcycles and gun trucks .

Meanwhile, the Multi-National joint Task Force (MNJTF) had also rendered full support to troops under sector 1 consisting of 21troops and 26 brigades clearing villages of terrorists in the axis such as lawanti, Alfa Cross and Alfa Bula Hassan, Kwoche ,Garin Bello.

According to skilled experts, “The relentless troops destroyed the terrorists’ camps and recovered gun trucks and weapons as NAF aircraft continue to provide close air and interdiction support to the ground forces

“Regrettably a soldier paid the supreme sacrifice with 4 other soldiers wounded in an improvised explosive devices incident”.

However, tributes were made to the deceased soldier as the rest of the troops were encourage to handle cases of insurgency well.
