The Senate on Wednesday has demanded that the Federal Government order officials from the National Emergency Management Agency and Ministry of Humanitarian Affairs, to bring back displaced Ogun residents in Benin Republic

Some residents of Yewa in Ogun State had relocated to the Republic of Benin as a result of the incessant herdsmen attacks on their communities.

The Senate decision was as a result of point of order raised by the Senator representing Ogun West, Tolu Odebiyi.

Also, the red chamber mandated relevant security agencies to restore law and order in the troubled communities.
