The Governor of Benue State, Samuel Ortom on Tuesday has expressed sadness about those who doubted his attack says that there was no reason for him to raise false alarm.
Suspected gunmen had on Saturday attacked the convoy of Governor, Samuel Ortom.
The incident happened at Tyo Mu along Makurdi/Gboko road around noon.

The Governor was said to be on his way to Makurdi when the gunmen opened fire on his convoy but were repelled by his security men.
The Governor while expressing sadness about those who doubted the incident, said he wondered what he would gain from raising a false alarm.
Ortom stated this after he met with President Muhammadu Buhari at the Presidential Villa, Abuja.
Meanwhile, Buhari has ordered that thorough investigation should be carried out on the attack which took place on Saturday.
Ortom said that he never wish that his worst enemy passes through what he went through.
He said Buhari had accepted some suggestions he made on the security situation in the state.
