Few Things To Know About Late Yinka Odumakin

Renowned activist and Secretary of the Pan-Yoruba socio-political group, Afenifere, Yinka Odumakin died on Saturday, April 3.
He was said to have died of COVID-19 complications at the Lagos State University Teaching Hospital, LASUTH.
He died at the age of 59.
Odumakin who until his demise was the Secretary of the Afenifere group was married to human rights activist, Dr. Mrs Joe Okei-Odumakin.

He played a major role in the National Democratic Coalition that fought the regime of late military head of state, General Sani Abacha, after the annulment of the June 12, 1993 election.
The deceased was a columnist and had been in the news in recent times over the lingering Fulani herdsmen crisis.
