EFCC Arrests Ex-Imo Governor Okorocha

Governor Rochas Okorocha has warned the Acting Chairman of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC), Ibrahim Magu, not to allow the agency to be infiltrated by politicians.

Former Imo State Governor, Rochas Okorocha, has been arrested by the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, EFCC.

He was arrested by the anti-graft agency on Tuesday in Abuja.

The reason for the arrest of the Senator representing Imo West Senatorial District has yet to be confirmed as of press time.

The Imo State Police Command had in February arrested Okorocha for allegedly unsealing Spring Palm Estate linked to his wife, Nkechi.

The estate and other properties sealed were claimed to have been diverted by Okorocha and his family members.
