The Lagos State Commissioner for Information and Strategy, Gbenga Omotoso has dispelled rumours making the rounds on social media that the State Government planned to deny the amputee sachet water hawker, Mary Daniels, of the N25 million donated to her by well-meaning Nigerians.
Omotoso during an interview on Star FM on Thursday stated categorically that the State government had no plan of denying the lady of her huge donation.
He stated that all the State government had done was that the 26-year old amputee remained unmolested and safe to do whatever she intends to do with the money.

“That is a confirmation Lagos State is a land of hope and opportunities,” the Information and Strategy Commissioner asserted.
