Gunmen Attack Mosque, Abduct Worshippers In Katsina

Gunmen suspected to be bandits have attacked a mosque on Monday morning at Jibia, Katsina State.

It was gathered that the gunmen attacked the mosque located around New Abbatoir Area in the town, a few minutes after midnight when the worshippers were in the middle of the prayers but did not fire any gunshot in order not to attract attention.
The gunmen allegedly marched the abductees out of the mosque to their waiting motorcycles and then moved towards the direction of Kaoran-Namoda Highway.
