BREAKING: Senate Rejects Onochie As INEC commissioner

Onochie says she is no longer in APC.

AN24 reports that one of the presidential media aides, Lauretta Onochie, on Thursday, said she had seized to be a member of the All Progressives Congress, APC, after the 2019 general elections.

She said this during her screening as INEC Commissioner by the Senate Committee on the Independent National Electoral Commission, INEC.

The Presidential aide, however, admitted swearing to an oath at an Abuja Federal High Court that she was a member of the APC.

She told the committee that she stopped being a member of the ruling party immediately after the 2019 elections.
