The Minister of Information and Culture, Lai Mohammed, has said that the Federal Government will soon lift the ban on micro-blogging site, Twitter.
Lai Mohammed on Wednesday said that the Federal Government had reached mutual agreement with Twitter.
The FG had on June 5, 2021, announced the ban of Twitter in the country indefinitely, following the deleted tweets made by President Muhammadu Buhari.
Buhari had in the tweets warned the Indigenous People of Biafra that they “will be treated in the language they understand”.
Mohammed shortly after Wednesday’s FEC meeting said progress has been made in resolving the issue following series of meetings.
