Bawa Is Hale, Hearty – EFCC

The Economic and Financial Commission, EFCC, says its Chairman, Abdulrasheed Bawa is hale and hearty.

A statement by the Head, Media and Publicity, Wilson Uwujaren, said the clarification became necessary following an incident on Thursday at the Presidential Villa, Abuja where he was giving a goodwill message to the National Identity Day celebration.

Umujaren said Bawa felt unwell and had to return to his seat during the event.

He added that the anti-graft agency has since received medical attention and is due back at his desk.
