Five Bethel School Students Regain Freedom

Five more students of Bethel Baptist School, located in Chikun Local Government of Kaduna state have been released by their abductors.

The President of the Nigerian Baptist Convention, Rev Israel Adelani Akanji,  confirmed the release of the students on Friday night.

No fewer than 121 students of the school were abducted from their hostel on July 5, 2021.

Confirming the release of the students, Akanji said, “Glory be to God. Five of our Bethel Baptist High School students and the Matron (Making 6) have just been released to us this evening, October 8.

“We thank God and trust that the remaining four students will also be released. Thank you for your prayers and support.”
