Court Fines Fani-Kayode For Being Absent For Re-arraignment

A Federal High Court in Lagos on Wednesday, ordered a former Minister of Aviation Femi Fani-Kayode to pay a fine of N200,000 for being absent from court for his re-arraignment.

Fani-Kayode had told the court through his counsel that he was having a bed rest.

Reacting to the excuse, the court asked counsel to Fani-Kayode, Mr F. Ajudua to choose between revoking the bail of the second defendant or paying the fine.
