Fast-Rising Nigerian Compere, MC Eve Dies

A fast-rising Nigerian event host, Evelyn Adewunmi, popularly known as MC Eve, has passed away.

MC Eve reportedly died in a car crash that occurred in Lagos on Tuesday, October 12.

The deceased was said to have rode with her boyfriend when they got involved in the accident along the Lekki-Epe Expressway, Lagos.

According to the report, the boyfriend was unhurt while Eve was critically injured in the incident.

She was rushed to a nearby private hospital but gave up the ghost while on admission.

Nigerians including celebrities that the deceased had worked with took to their respective social media platforms to pay tributes to her.
