Plateau Speaker, Abok Ayuba Impeached
The Speaker Plateau State House of Assembly, Honourable Abok Ayuba has been impeached.
Abok emerged the Speaker of the ninth Plateau State House of Assembly in 2019.
He was impeached on Thursday morning after a vote of no confidence by over 18 members of the assembly.

Meanwhile, Rt Hon. Yakubu Sanda representing the Pengana constituency in the state assembly has been elected Speaker by the members.
