Building Collapse: Sanwo-Olu Inaugurates Investigative Panel
Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu on Thursday inaugurated the six-man independent investigation team set up to probe the cause of the collapse of a 21-storey building in Ikoyi.
The Governor had on Wednesday named the members of the probe panel when he visited the collapsed site.
Sanwo-Olu during the inauguration on Thursday charges them to carry out the investigation bearing the people in mind.
The panel has 30 days to submit its report.

Members of the probe panel comprise of a professional builder, town planner, structural engineer and legal practitioners.
It is being chaired by the President of Nigeria Institute of Town Planners (NITP), Mr. Toyin Ayinde, while Ekundayo Onajobi, a lawyer in private law firm, is the Secretary.
Other panel members are a structural engineer, Dr. Akintilo Idris Adeleke; an architect, Yinka Ogundairo; representative of Institute of Builders, Mr. Godfrey O. Godfrey, and Mrs. Bunmi Ibrahim, a property lawyer.
