MMIA Terminal Inauguration: Sanwo-Olu, Cabinet Receive Buhari
Lagos State Governor, Babajide Sanwo-Olu and some of his cabinet members have welcomed President Muhammadu Buhari to Lagos today.
Buhari flew into Lagos to inaugurate the newly built International Terminal at the Muritala Muhammed International Airport by the Federal Airports Authority of Nigeria.
The new terminal has the capacity to process 14 million passengers per year. It is built on a landmass of approximately 56,000 square meters and has 66 check-in counters.

The terminal which is estimated to cost over $100 million, is one of the five airports that benefited from the 2013 loan deal between Nigeria and China for the building of four new terminals.
Lagos had yesterday announced the provision of alternative routes for motorists for Buhari’s visit.
