Police Announces Alternative Routes In Abuja Ahead Of APC Convention
In a bid to ensure safety at the national convention of the All Progressives Party and make sure there is no disruption of economic activities in Abuja, the Police Command in the Federal Capital Territory has announced traffic diversions.
The APC convention is slated to hold on Saturday, March 26 at the Eagle Square, Abuja.
In a statement signed by the Police Public Relations Officer, FCT, DSP Josephine Adeh, the command designed an operational order to maximise the deployment of human and material resources for the success of the convention.

The spokesperson said areas to be closed to traffic included; Goodluck Ebele Jonathan by Court of Appeal, behind Court of Appeal, ECOWAS by Women Affairs, Finance junction, behind Foreign Affairs, Kur Mohammed, by National Mosque and Benue Plaza.
Others are Nitel Junction, Phase 3, NNPC Towers, Ceddi Plaza bridge, Gana St. by Transcorp, DSS Headquarters Phase 1, NASS Junction, Bullet, and Bayelsa House.
Adeh said the arrangement was made for security optimisation and ease of transportation during the convention.
She noted that the command needs the cooperation of Abuja road users and adbvised they use the diversions.
