Sit-At-Home Enforcers Attack Enugu Park, Kill One

Violence broke out today (Monday) in Enugu State capital, Enugu, as armed men suspected to be members of the proscribed Indigenous People of Biafra attacked a park when activities were ongoing.
The hoodlums were reportedly enforcing the sit-at-home protest demanding the release of the group’s leader, Nnamdi Kanu.
They burnt a Sienna bus during the attack and also killed a male traveller during a shooting that continued for a long time.
People present at the park at the time of the attack ran to safety.

Eyewitness and Driver of the burnt Sienna, who escaped being killed, narrated how the hoodlums stormed the park while he was still waiting for passengers to fill the vehicle.
The Enugu police public relations officer Daniel Ndukwe confirmed the incident.
He said some miscreants operating s minibus shot at the yet to be identified male travellers at the Chris Chemist Roundabout park.
Ndukwe said his operatives who responded to the distress calls, rushed the victim to a nearby hospital, where he was confirmed dead by the doctor on duty.
