Former President Goodluck Jonathan on Friday said he is not certain he will contest the 2023 presidency or not.

This revelation follows several pleas by his supporters, the most recent being a group of supporters storming his Abuja office today (Friday) urging him to contest.

The supporters, who were mainly women complained about the predicament they’ve faced since he lost power in 2015.

Jonathan lost to President Muhammadu Buhari in 2015 after some political bigwigs came together to form the All Progressives Party.

There has been rumours that he would contest under the platform of the APC, which the former president has not official reacted to.

According to Jonathan: “I cannot tell if I’m contesting.”

The supporters arrived at the office with a musical band around 8:50 a.m.

They lamented that hunger, insecurity, and unemployment, among others, have become the order of the day since he left office.

The supporters said that both men and women have turned to beggars because of the unfavourable policies of the present administration.
