Fire Guts Dana Aircraft During Take-Off

Tragedy has been averted in Port Harcourt International Airport as emergency officials of the airport were able to put out the fire from a Dana aeroplane that suddenly caught fire.

No life was lost in the incident, which happened around 9:00 pm on Monday

It was reported that the plane went up in flames as it was about to take off from the airport.

The cause of the fire outbreak is unknown as reports surrounding the incident is sketchy as of press time.

However, a spokesman for the airline said the pilot took immediate safety procedures and helped passengers disembark calmly, avoiding any injuries.
