ASUU: 80 Days After Commencement Of Strike, UNIBEN Students Protest, Block Highway

80 days after the Academic Staff Union of Universities commenced the ongoing strike, some students of the university of Benin have gathered in their number to protest the continuous closure of tertiary institutions.
The students barricaded the busy Benin-Lagos Expressway, school gate and Ring Road causing heavy gridlock.
They expressed dissatisfaction over the strike action which, according to them, has killed several students of tertiary universities and rendered some others useless.
