Daddy Showkey Criticizes Boxing Promoters Who Brought Mayweather To Nigeria
Veteran Nigerian singer Daddy Showkey, has criticized boxing promoters that brought Floyd Mayweather into the country.
The singer was angry that the boxing promoters shunned Nigerians who have been trying to bring the sport back to life.

In a video posted on his verified Instagram account, the singer said, “Those promoting boxing in our country are stupid. There are people that have been supporting boxing, promoting boxing; doing everything to bring boxing back to life in our country.
“You will bring international boxers and celebrate them but you will not take people that have been celebrating boxing to come there. At least, to carry the campaign. You take them to government officials that do not support boxing; those that do not support our sports in our country. Those that have killed our sports generally. No be mumu una be? You are stupid people.”
