Sexual Misconduct: Four Chrisland Schools Teachers Arraigned

The Lagos State Police Command has arraigned four teachers of Chrisland Schools, Lagos over the sexual misconduct of some pupils of the school at the World School Games in Dubai, the United Arab Emirates.
The teachers accompanied the pupils to Dubai where the incident occurred.
They were arraigned at the Yaba Magistrate Court, Lagos.
They are facing charges of alleged conspiracy and conduct likely to cause a breach of public peace preferred against them by the Police.

The Lagos State ordered the closure of all of the school’s branches after a video emerged showing some of the pupils having sex in their hotel room in Dubai.
It reopened the schools a week later following a review of the administrative investigation into the incident.
A 40-year-old broadcaster, Uche Igwe, who allegedly shared the video of the illicit act on Twitter was on Monday brought before the same court and was granted bail in the sum of N10 million with three sureties in like sum.
The magistrate adjourned Igwe’s case until June 13 for mention.
