NFF Sheds More Light On Rohr’s Salary



The Nigeria Football Federation (NFF) has revealed more details on the situation between them and the former Super Eagles Coach, Gernot Rohr.

On Monday, FIFA ordered NFF to pay the german a sum of $377,879.46 (N157m) in compensation after he was sacked before the end of his contract.

According to a report by THE PUNCH, the Director of Communication, Nigeria Football Federation, Ademola Olajire has shed more light to the issue.

Mr Olajire revealed this via a WhatsApp platform, ‘Family United By Sports.’

The NFF spokesperson said the federation had already agreed to pay the coach a major chunk of the cash before FIFA’s intervention, adding that part of the money would also be used to pay Rohr’s assistants’ bonuses.

He said the $300,000 was his six months pay that the NFF had earlier agreed to pay him, even before he went to FIFA.
He also said that the remaining $78,000 was the bonuses of his assistants, who were not paid when Rohr got his pay.
