The family of the late sound engineer, David Sunday Imoh popularly known as Dave Sounds, had demanded justice over his gruesome murder by motorcyclists, who attacked him and his colleagues in the Lekki area of Lagos State.

In a video posted by the Nation Newspaper online, the wife of the deceased, Grace Imoh disclosed that they had two sons – Samuel and Emmanuel.

Mrs Imoh who spoke in tears, lamented that her husband was murdered in cold blood.

Explaining what played out on that day, she said her husband was setting up for a show inside Beer Barn (an entertainment facility), while two of his colleagues, Frank and Philip, who mounted a motorcycle, had an argument with the motorcyclist. They agreed on paying N400 and gave the motorcyclist N500 to collect N100, but the motorcyclist said he did not have change.

They gave him N300 and told the motorcyclist that they always played at Beer Barn and promised to give him his change later. The motorcyclist refused and that was how the fight started. When the fight became intense, people came inside to call their colleagues, including her husband, and they rushed outside to help but the motorcyclist caught up with her husband and burnt him to death.

She said her husband attempted to salvage the situation between his colleaugues and the motorcyclist over a N100 change.

While pleading for justice, she disclosed that the other two of his colleaugues, Frank and Philip are currently in comma receiving proper treatment.

The deceased’s wife sister, Dorcas Akinwande, described Imoh as a gentle person and debunked claims on social media that he was an internet fraudster.

Akinwande added that everyone involved in the killings of David Imoh must be brought to book and justice must be served on the matter.
