2021/22 Football Calendar: Mo Salah’s Bittersweet Season

Liverpool and Egyptian football superstar Mohammed Salah seems have had a crazy seasons so far.

The 29 year old who had won two trophies from four finals this season does not still look satisfied , As he missed out on two trophies and also the EPL title that could increase his chances for the 2022 Ballon d’Or.

These includes the UEFA Champions League, the English Premier League, and the African Cup of Nations(AFCON).

Salah on Saturday was left devastated after he saw his side, Liverpool lose 1-0 to Real Madrid.

Salah’s defeat to Madrid is his second in a Champions League final, as the Egyptian was unable to play the full 90 minutes of the 2018 3-1 defeat against the Spanish giants following a controversial tackle that rendered him injured.

Although the Egyptian winger had 31 goals but these still could not help him win the trophies he lost.

And not to forget that the Egyptian playmaker will also not be in World Cup, after losing to his team mate country Sadio Manè Senegal on penalties in World Cup Playoff just months after losing the AFCON trophy to same team.
