Gunmen Attack Anambra Broadcasting Service, Injure Staff, Burn Vehicles

Some staff of the Anambra Broadcasting Service were left in the pool of their blood as some yet-to-be-identified gunmen attacked their office in the early hours of Monday.

A building, a company bus and a private car owned by a staff who worked overnight was burnt down at the Awada, Onitsha station of the broadcasting company.

No life was lost in the attack, but the gunmen brutalised the staff they met in the premises, inflicting injuries on them.

As of presstime, a staff who spoke anonymously said they were being interrogated by security agents over the attack.

Anambra Broadcasting Service, a State government-owned company has been giving support to the State government on its fight against rampaging gunmen.
