Buhari Meets Governors Over APC Presidential Primary

President Muhammadu Buhari on Tuesday held a crucial meeting with the All Progressives Congress, APC Governors over the forthcoming presidential primary of the ruling party.
AN24 gathered that the crucial meeting which was attended by many governors took place behind a closed-door at the Presidential Villa in Abuja.
A source disclosed that top on the agenda of the meeting was next week’s APC presidential primary.
Meanwhile, Buhari will today depart Abuja for Madrid, Spain to honour the invitation of the Spanish President, Pedro Sanchez.
The Special Adviser to the president on Media and Publicity, Femi Adesina made this known while also stating that Buhari will, during his visit, discuss issues of mutual interests to both countries, which will, “expectedly result in the signing of Agreements and Memoranda of Understanding on a wide range of topics geared towards further enhancing the bilateral relations between the two nations.”
“Such areas include: Extradition and transfer of convicted persons, mutual legal assistance, cultural matters, cooperation towards fighting crime and enhancing security, as well as issues affecting dependants of diplomatic staff.”
The presidential aide said the president will also meet with the Head of State of the Spanish nation, His Majesty King Felipe VI.
