Arsenal Confirms Lacazette Departure

North London side, Arsenal on Thursday, confirmed french striker, Alexandre Lacazette, will be leaving the club when his contract expires on June 30.

According to multiple reports, the striker would be returning to his former club Lyon on a free transfer.

Arsenal Manager, Mikel Arteta, on Lacazette move,
he said: “Laca has been a fantastic player for us.

“He’s been a real leader on and off the pitch and has been a very important influence to our younger players.

“His commitment with us has been exceptional and we wish him and his family success and happiness.”

Lacazette who scored 71 goals in 206 appearances for Arsenal and won the FA Cup and Community Shield with the club in 2020, leaves as one of the club’s top ten all-time Premier League goal scorers.
