Minimum Wage: National Assembly Workers Block Complex’s Gate
There is a difficulty accessing the building of the National Assembly as a group workers under the auspices of Parliamentary Staff Association of Nigeria barricade the main entrance of the complex over unpaid dues.
The aggrieved workers are staff of the National Assembly and National Assembly Service Commission.
PASAN had on Friday warned they will commence an indefinite strike on Monday (today).
They asking for the payment of arrears of Minimum wage, leave grant and other allowances and also accused the management of the National Assembly of reneging on a Memorandum of Understanding to fully implement the revised condition of service and the training and re-Training of staff.

The workers blocked the gate with their coastal bus and human shield.
They vowed that the the strike will be total and indefinite.
They have further directed all their members to stay at home from Tuesday in furtherance of the indefinite strike.
