Abuja Stands Still For APC Special Convention

Abuja, the Federal Capital Territory of Nigeria is presently busy with political activities as the ruling party, the All Progressives Congress (APC) converges at the Eagles Square Abuja for the party’s special convention to elect its presidential candidate for the February 25, 2023 poll. 
Eagles Square, the venue of the special convention is wearing a new look with some pavillions already assigned to delegates for each state as well as creating a special place for the VIPs, party leaders, observers, officials and journalists who are expected to be at the event.
As part of last-minute campaign by the presidential aspirants and their supporters, Eagles Square is also adorned with billboards, banners and posters of all the aspirants.
The Central Business District of Abuja is busy with activities presently due to the special convention. Those in the hospitality business are also smiling to bank following the influx of APC party leaders, members and delegates into Abuja for the special convention.
The delegates who are expected to participate in the presidential election have started their accreditation at the International Conference Centre (ICC) ahead of the special convention billed to kick off around 2 p.m. based on the programme of events.
