WAFU B: Golden Eaglets Top’s Group After Win Against Togo
Nigeria’s Golden Eaglets, tops Group A after a 3-1 win against Togo in their second WAFU B U-17 Championship game at the Cape Coast Stadium on Tuesday night.
Kevwe Iyede and Precious Williams scored for the Golden Eaglets in the first half.
Togo reduced the deficit from a sublime free kick in the 72nd minute.
Light Eke restored Nigeria’s two-goal lead late in the game.
Williams and Eke have now scored two goals each for the Golden Eaglets at tournament.

Nigeria’s Emmanuel Michael was also voted man of the match for the second consecutive game at the tournament.
The Eaglets tops Group A with six points from two matches.
The Eaglets will face the second-placed team in Group B at the Knock-out Stage.
