Ebonyi Finance Commissioner Suspended Over Incompetence
The Commissioner of Finance and Economic Development of Ebonyi State, Orlando Nweze, has been indefinitely suspended by the state governor, David Umahi over his alleged incompetence at discharging assigned duties.
The suspension notice was signed by the Secretary to the State Government, Dr Kenneth Ugbala, and made available to newsmen on Wednesday in Abakaliki.
Nweze was directed to handover all government properties in his possession to the permanent secretary of the ministry before the close of work on Wednesday, June 15.
