Too Early To Conclude Ekiti Election Is Credible – Fayemi

The outgoing Governor of Ekiti State, Kayode Fayemi has said it is too early to conclude that the ongoing governorship election in the state is credible.
AN24 had reported that 16 candidates are jostling to succeed Fayemi.
Speaking to newsmen moments after casting his vote, the outgoing governor said the process is peaceful at the moment but it is too early to give a verdict.

He continued that “If everything goes this way, INEC would be given a pass mark at the end of the exercise. But like I was, it is very early, we cannot pass the judgment yet.”
Commenting on the new Electoral Act, he said, “my PVC was still recognised and this is the PVC I’ve been using since the beginning of this process.”
