BREAKING: Buhari Swears In Ariwoola As Acting CJN

President Muhammadu Buhari has sworn in Justice Olukayode Ariwoola as the acting Chief Justice of Nigeria, CJN.

Ariwoola, being the most senior Justice of the Supreme Court took the oath of office as the acting CJN on Monday at the Council Chambers of the Presidential Villa in Abuja.

He replaced the immediate past CJN, Ibrahim Tanko Muhammad who resigned on Monday due to health reasons.

Ariwoola, while taking the oath administered by Buhari, pledged to be faithful to the Federal Government of Nigeria and also defend the Constitution of the country.
