Queen Elizabeth: British High Commission Offices In Nigeria To Be Closed
As the United Kingdom buries late Queen Elizabeth II, the British High Commission has announced that its offices across Nigeria will be closed on Monday, September 19.
The information was disclosed via the commission’s official Twitter page, @UKinNigeria, on Friday.

The tweet, however, stated that the UK Visa Application Centres in Abuja and Lagos will not be affected by the closure.
The statement read, “Our British High Commission offices in Abuja, Lagos and across the country will be closed on Monday September 19th, 2022 in observance of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II’s funeral. UK Visa Application Centres in Abuja & Lagos remain open. God Save the King!”
