5 Things To Know About Billionaire Drug Baron Arrested In Lagos
Earlier on Monday, October 3, 2022, the National Drug Law Enforcement Agency announced the apprehension of a billionaire drug baron, Ugochukwu Nsofor.
According to the statement signed by the agency’s spokesman, Femi Babafemi, 13.4 million Tramadol pills were discovered in a mansion at Victoria Garden City, in Lekki Lagos.
He also revealed that the seized tramadol is worth N8.86billion.

He is the Chairman of Autonation Motors Ltd.
Nsofor is 52-year-old.
He hails from Ihiala local government area of Anambra state.
The suspected drug baron has been on the agency’s watch list as one of those behind the tramadol drug cartel in Nigeria.
He has six mansions within the VGC, one of which he uses to warehouse the tramadol consignment, while he lives in the one at Plot Z-130 Road 67 and another as his office.
