My Unforgettable Moment At The Experience Concert – Donnie McClurkin

American gospel singer Donnie McClurkin has said that his most memorable moment at the yearly gospel concert, The Experience, was the night lights went off on stage and it rained heavily but the congregation stayed and worshipped.

The Experience musical concert is an annual event organised by Pastor Paul Adefarasin of House on the Rock church

According to the three-time Grammy Award winner the incident, which left an everlasting footprint in his happened during the 2008 edition of the concert.

“It was in 2008 when it rained and the tent collapsed and there were hundreds of thousands of people at TBS and generators went out, microphones went out and we stayed out all the night in the rain and we sang to the people who also sang back to us. We worshiped God and nobody went home.

“To see hundreds of thousands of people stay and worship God in the rain and not go home was a sign of love and commitment that I’ve never seen I. My whole 53years of of salvation and 63years in life,” he said.

McClurkin joins other ministers including Tope Alabi, Phil Thompson, Chandler Moore, Moses Bliss Nathaniel Bassey, Dunsin Oyekan, Travis Green among others for the 17th edition of The Experience at Tafawa Balewa Square (TBS) tonight.
